Model trains used to be a normal hobby with a large fanbase that has, unfortunately, fallen into disuse. With this program called Googol Choo Choo 3D you can design and simulate the elements you want, and see them working.

The best thing about building model trains on the PC is that there are no limits to what you can do: all types of track, crossings, trees, buidings, animals, people, signals, roads, different levels of terrain to go up and down ... everything in your imagination.

All the models are done in 3D, and the scenery rendering is done via OpenGL. You can enjoy your model from various perspectives, some even from within the trains themselves.
